No matter where you are in the world we can all fight against cruelty and protect the animals from inhumane slaughter practices and domestic abuse.

Dear ALDF Law Professionals,

We are sending a request on behalf of Tsega Merga, an animal activist working in Ethiopia. Tsega Merga’s work in Ethiopia includes developing and distributing, leaflets, notes, brochures, and photos which show acts of cruelty against animals. He is also working on a book on animal legal issues in Ethiopia. Ethiopia is one of the countries in which animal welfare efforts are at an early stage of development. Tsega’s work is designed to create awareness for different stakeholders such as animal owners and community elders, cart drivers and others having direct and indirect relationships with animals, civil society such as teachers and agricultural development staff, and officials and policy/decision makers.

Tsega funds this work from his own pocket. In order to do his work more effectively, he needs cameras and laptops (additional information below)to be used by the volunteers who assist him in gathering and disseminating information about the plight of animals.

If you and/or your law firm have a used but still useable laptop or camera that you no longer need and wish to donate to this work (it is our understanding there is not a 501(c)(3) designation for write off purposes), please contact Tsega Merga directly as this is not an ALDF project. All equipments are useful here. However, as there is lack of power of electricity, it is better to send the equipments whose battery is served for a long time. They can use Postal service through EMS. As of my information there is no special consideration rather than payment of custom tax. They can send me as follow:-
